Enzo Traini – Accountable Manager
Captain Enzo
Traini worked at Volare Airlines from 1998 to 2004
as General Maintenance Manager having overall responsibility
for the maintenance of a 25 aircraft fleet. From
1996 to 1997 he worked as Flight Captain at Alpi
Eagles, an Italian based carrier. From 1982 to 1995
he worked at Piaggio Aviation holding various management
position: from 1982 he served as Chief Test Pilot,
from 1995 as Managing Director and Marketing and
Sales Director. Prior to working in civil aviation,
Captain Traini, started his career in the Italian
Air Force (until 1971). From 1971 to 1972 he served
as U.S.A.F. Test Pilot at Edwards, California.
Danilo Zenari – Maintenance Post Holder
From 2002 to
2004 Danilo Zenari was Maintenance Post Holder with
overall responsibility for Technical and Engineering
Planning at Volare Airlines. Prior to that he was
called to cover the position of Engineering Manager
during the start-up stage (1998-2002) of Volare
Airlines. From 1996 to 1998 Mr Zenari worked in
the field of industrial machinery as a consultant.
Previously he had joined Alenia Aeronautica, a Finmeccanica
company, where he stayed from 1984 to 1996, covering
various management positions before taking up the
role as Head of the Technical Services at Officine
Aeronavali Venezia, Tessera Plant, Venice. Within
Alenia he also served as Programs Co-ordinator,
Materials Buying and Scheduling Manager, Production
Control Manager, Technical Services and Quality
Control Manager at OAN, Capodichino Plant, Naples.
Industrial Production and Control Manager at Dee
Howard Co.– San Antonio Texas - Reference Officer for all the activities of Assistant Production Manager at Officine Aeronavali Venezia – Tessera Plant, Venice.
Mario Vitali – Flight Operations Post Holder
Captain Mario
Paolo Vitali, Flight Captain of A320 and A330 Airbuses,
held various management positions at Volare Airlines
between 1999 and 2003 including Airbus Fleet Manager
and Deputy Flight Operations Post Holder. In 2004
he joined Air Europe S.p.A. serving as Flight Operations
Post Holder. From 1977 to 1998, prior to working
in Civil Aviation, he was Pilot Officer and Flight
Instructor of the Italian Air Force.
